Training as a Pool Cleaner

  1. You will take written test and pass with a 90% or better.
  2. You will have reading assignments.
  3. You will learn about water chemistry and how to balance. (several testing methods)
  4. You will learn about equipment operations on all major brands. (A few repairs but most how it operates)
  5. You will learn how to properly clean a pool. (How to properly brush and what to brush, several ways to skim)

Upon 4-week completion you will be offered a full-time position. We for companies in the following areas, Katy, Cypress, Houston, Pearland, NASA, The Woodlands, Humble, Sugarland and others) if you have completed all testing with a 90% or better and can clean pools without issues on your own, welcome to a job like no other.

Here is how it works and what you will pay to train to be 1 of the best this is a training for a life skill a way of life.

You will purchase a chemical 1 IPSSA book $49.95 & pay half of tuition $500.00, On day 1 final payment due by 3rd week. Book 2 Equipment is $49.95 for a Total of $1099.90

Complete water chemistry test with 90% or better with in 1st 4 weeks you will take the test every week until you get a 90% or better. If you can not get a passing grade in 2 weeks you will be released.

Training is from 7:30 am to 3pm Monday thru Friday here is the schedule

1st Week – Nightly reading

Monday 8 am – 9 am class training. Ride along on repairs from 9 am to 3 pm

Tuesday – Friday 7:30 am – 3 pm field training each day you will have a different task in the team each day.

2nd week

Monday 8am -9 am Class and 1st test, field training 9 am – 3 pm.

Tuesday – Friday 7:30 am – 3 pm field training each day you will have a different task in the team each day.

3rd week

Monday 8am -9 am Class and 2st test, field training 9 am – 3 pm.

Tuesday Clean first 4 pools with supervision talk about and work in the team rest of the day.

Wednesday Take care of the 1st 5 pools with supervision talk about and work in the team rest of the day.

Thursday – Friday 7:30 am – 3 pm field training each day you will have a different task in the team.

4th week

Monday 8am -9 am Class 3rd test if chemistry test was passed on week 2, we start book 2 equipment $49.95, field training 9 am – 3 pm.

Tuesday Clean first 8 pools with supervision talk about and work in the team rest of the day.

Wednesday Take care of the 1st 10 pools with supervision.

Thursday 7:30 am – 3 pm field training each day you will have a different task in the team.

Friday 7:30 am – 3 pm Clean all 12 pools on the schedule supervised.

3 months’ probation

1st month $500 .00 a week unsupervised pool route.

2nd month $550.00 a week provided you have not missed any days and have completed your routes.

3rd month $575 a week provided you have not missed any days and have completed your routes.

Weekly Bonus for being on Time, not missing a day and completing route

An additional $50.00 a week. (additional pools over 40 at $12.00 each)

4th month – 6th month will increase according to how many pools you can complete in a 5-day work week without call backs. A pool cleaner completing a 50-pool route without call backs will be at $625.00 a week by the end of 6 months. Normal but not always the case some catch on faster and can move up faster.

Perks of the business Thanksgiving and Christmas week only baskets, pumps and cleaners are emptied the faster you complete your route the more time you get off with pay.   Be a contractor use your own truck and equipment $150.00 a week extra.
